FIGURE SKATING

Figure skating requires lower body power, strength, balance, mobility, and flexibility to perform the best during competitions. It also requires good conditioning to be able to repeat jumps and make it through longer programs.

In our program we will test each athlete’s:

  • Vertical and Broad Jumps (Power),

  • 20 yd Sprint (Speed),

  • Box Drill (Agility)

  • 300 yd Shuttle (Conditioning)

    We will then design a personalized workout plan to improve areas of weakness as well as build strength. Each session also will incorporate mobility and flexibility training to help prevent injuries.
